Full description
Beautifully situated on the Red Sea coast, the modern city of Hurghada is a haven for sand, sun and sea lovers. But on this private sightseeing tour, you will discover another side to the city, the second largest on the Red Sea coast. Following a hotel pick-up, drive to the highest point of the city to see Hurghada and its surroundings from a panoramic perspective. Look out at the gleaming Red Sea and across the sand-colored rooftops of El Gouna, before moving to the old port and ship yard. Next, visit the fish market to see locals picking up fresh fish for their evening meals, then continue to see the largest mosque in Hurghada, and the church of St. Mary. Go to the Aquarium to see Red Sea marine life up close, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit some of the bazaars, where you can put your bartering skills to the test.

Our guide Karim gave us a nice insight into the history and religion of Hurghada. The route was perfectly planned and we could decide for ourselves how much time we wanted to spend at each stop. He responded to our wishes, which places we might still be interested in and integrated them into the route. At each stop he told us many interesting things and found an answer to every question we had. Among other things, we visited a mosque, the fish market, the harbor and a bazaar, but we were not "pushed" at all to buy anything. For lunch we had a typical Egyptian meal in the old town of Hurghada. All in all, a beautiful individually designed route with a totally friendly guide. We would definitely repeat!

At first we were really surprised because a car came, but the driver and the guide were so great we would do it again. The driver was really great. The guide went to a lot of trouble and explained and showed a lot in very good German. You see so much in front of everyone differently than the normal tourist tours. Could have seen more, unfortunately didn't have that much time. SIMPLY GREAT

Pickup from the hotel worked great, everything else was very well organized, the guide was great, explained everything very well. First drive to the marina, walk to the mosque, then local fish and fruit market. Then the typical sales events, i.e. perfumes/oils/cosmetics, papyrus. But otherwise a great day, really successful
