Quebec City: Old Town and Montmorency Falls Bus Tour
- Duration: 3 hours
The tour itself was very good, but not well suited to a rainy day such as we had. The bus wasn't particularly great for taking pictures as we saw various sites, and the only stop was at the falls - so much of what was seen was difficult to photograph. I personally wasn't comfortable walking in the rain on the wooden boardwalk around the falls. Of course, the views of the falls were the most important and best part of the tour in my opinion, and it's just a shame we had bad weather for it. My biggest problem with all of the Get Your Guide activities is they don't provide enough detailed info to enable you to find your guide, e.g., this trip indicated the guide would be in period dress, and our guide was in a shirt and trousers - not what I would consider period. I didn't care except that we walked around in the rain for quite a while looking for the appropriate bus.
From the greeting at Motel d’Orléons and tutorial to the incredible journey through beautiful countryside, by very old and lovingly maintained Oléons houses, by views of Québec City, an incredible chocolate place, a winery, and many berry sellers, it was an incredible day. It was an unforgettable experience, and the electric bikes made the uphill portions a breeze, so nice when on holiday!
Driver was great! She took us to both the top and bottom of the falls. Super nice. The city tour was a bit repetitive for me but I’d also already been on another tour so there’s that. The falls were definitely the best part!
Staff was great, had indecisive friend deciding between tandem and single bike and the patience and graciousness was top notch customer service. Bike tour was one of my favorite things on tour! Highly recommend.
We travelled in the winter so this was the perfect opportunity to see sights and stay warm. The guide was very knowledgeable and suggested other places to visit. Glad we took the tour our first day here.
