Was a well organised tour with a knowledgeable, professional and interesting guide. Skipping the long entry queue was fantastic. Outside of the company and guide’s control was the fact that the Louvre was completely overcrowded. It was difficult to hear the guide at all times owing to background noise and reasonably poor audio quality of the headsets (I’d recommend bringing your own headphones with a standard headphone jack which might improve things). It’s hard to know whether to recommend this tour. It’s probably great on days when there are significantly fewer people.
Martin was insightful and did his best to show us best of louvre but it's way too short to summit it all must-sees of louvre... Mona Lisa took us half of the time, we had to wait in line for 45 minutes and once you get there you get to gaze in her eyes and smile for less than a minute with a hordes of people trying to take a selfie. They kick you out before you even realize it that you have just seen a masterpiece of art. The Louvre is way too big for an hour and a half, I stayed there for 4 more hours on my own
This is a huge museum. Trying to see any of it without a guide would be counterproductive . Our tour was an hour and a half. There are longer tours for those with more time and more interest. This tour was ideal for experiencing masterpieces of art without an overwhelming length of time.
Julien did a fabulous job of showing us Belleville's Street Art as well as teaching us about the history of Parisian Street Art and the current artists found all over the streets of Paris. This was a unique and enriching experience.
This can only be an overview of the Louvre because of the short timeframe, but it's an excellent way to learn the back story of 12-15 pieces. Also, I walk with a cane and our guide, Pharret, was extremely accommodating
