    Depart Inverness and journey to the deep freshwater lake of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, where, on arrival, you will head to the Clansman Hotel for an optional boat trip across the water. Cruise around the loch for stunning views of the surrounding scenery, and get the chance to see Urquhart Castle from a different perspective. Look for the legendary Loch Ness Monster to work up an appetite, and then enjoy a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant. Venture on with a gentle drive to Invermoriston, where you can go on a scenic stroll that showcases flowing rivers, an ancient summerhouse and the ruins of a picturesque stone bridge. Continue to the wee village of Fort Augustus, nestled between Loch Ness and the 60-mile Caledonian Canal. Journet back towards Inverness, stopping for short walks and coffee breaks at the scenic villages of Foyers and Dores before your estimated arrival in Inverness at 5:00 PM.

    We loved it! Our driver/guide, Gale, was excellent. We really enjoyed how the seven hour tour was broken up into different parts with plenty of stops in different places with some time to go for a little walk. Great for adults and children alike (our children are 7 and 12 and they both loved it!) I highly recommend this tour.

    Emily was a great guide who shared lots of background about different places we visited. Really good to know the history of the Loch and very good information about vegetation too - why native plants vs. Pine trees or how Peta helps clean the water. Truly loved the informative and fun tour.

    This Loch Ness tour was a good little day trip. First off, I really liked the bus. It was nice, clean, and comfortable. I also liked the smaller group size. It made the tour feel more intimate. I also liked that I didn't have to be sandwiched next to someone. It was a pretty trip. In addition to seeing the Loch, we also got to see some of the countryside around it. That was actually my favorite part. There is also an optional boat trip on the Loch. It's nice. Note though that it is an extra cost. Our guide Willie was great. Had some good information to share and was very accommodating. Thank you Willie!
