Full description

Take in some of the most dramatic and stunning landscapes Scotland has to offer on an eco-certified tour from Inverness. Discover the Isle of Skye, including its capital Portree, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls, and the Old Man of Storr. See Loch Ness from Invermoriston, Loch Carron, and Eilean Donan Castle.

Meet your guide at Inverness Bus Station, where your group will board an air-conditioned coach. Head south out of the city. Then, follow the shores of Loch Ness to Invermoriston, where you will stop for a short break. Grab a coffee, take scenic photos, and try and spot Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.

Then, continue to Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland's most photographed castles, set on its own island at the head of Loch Duich. You will have time to visit the castle and learn about its history if you like (admission fees apply) or just admire the picturesque castle and its scenic surroundings.

Next, journey to the Isle of Skye. Stop at Portree, a small colorful town fringed by cliffs and rolling hills. Take in these beautiful surroundings while enjoying lunch and the views of the boats in the harbor. Once your appetite has been sated, move on to tour the rest of the island.

Head to the Old Man of Storr, an iconic rock formation, before visiting Kilt Rock, a sea-weathered cliff with amazing coastal views. Next, take a walk at Lealt Falls to admire the beautiful waterfall and gorge. Finally, head back to Inverness via the panoramic Strome Viewpoint over Loch Carron.

Luke our guide did a great job telling us about inverness, the isle of skye and the other beautiful places we visited. Stopped at great spots to take pictures and even went out of his way to cut carrots up for us to feed to the highland cows. We even had some extra time to stop at an amazing waterfall that isn’t normally in the route. Luke is also a highland cow whisperer and somehow got all of the cows to come down so we could pet/feed them. Overall the stories, views & tour was amazing and would recommend to anyone visiting the highlands of Scotland.

I was 5 days in Scotland (finally ) and I was very excited to go to the Highlands. I was very excited to do this tour to the Isle of Skye, to see the castles, the lakes, the mountains, the waterfalls even the cute cows (unfortunately I didn't see them, but it's ok, cause I will come back for sure) and even with rain and the fog, that turned impossible to see some spots, the tour was amazing and the highlight of my trip!! That was possible because Luke was an incredible guide, he made it fun, enjoyable and informative. Thank you Luke, for making this a very special day to me, thank you for the best playlist, for the knowledge (even the one that I didn't hear, because I got very distracted by the view, obviously ), and for the photos. And I loved being your unpaid assistant I totally recommend this tour with Luke

highly recommend this trip! even through the late fall, the weather cooperated and we were able to see so many amazing sights! Luke was an excellent guide, giving us history, funny facts, anecdotes and fun little quizzes all along the way! one of many highlights was the opportunity for drone photos in Slig on the bridge with the black cluinn (volcano) in the background. overall it was a relaxed, fun, and informative experience. thank you Luke so much!
