This 3-hour guided walk will give you the opportunity to learn about Turkish cuisine as you sample traditional foods along the way. Antiochia Cuisine of Civilizations presents you with samples of authentic Middle Eastern dishes. Enjoy the experience of a variety of different tastes as you wander through the heart of Istanbul. You’ll continue on through the Flower Passage and Nevizade, and explore the uncharted side streets of Pera. Taste kebab wraps at Dürümzade, made famous by chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain. Poor communication, bad service, tasteless and stale food, people are very rude. Horrible food, blend boiled, unflavored, stale. All the kebabs taste the same and are plain meat no flavoring, made me grossed out. There’s not a single dish I’d recommend. I remember Istanbul from the 90s and compared to today they have completely ruined the food experience. Also people constantly try to cheat you. Btw the guide was dipping his spoon and fork directly in our food during Covid. Boring and unpleasant experience. Felt uncomfortable the whole time with people being constantly rude. Would not recommend Turkey as a tourist destination.
