The blue mosque is a construction site inside and out (covered.)! A ceiling was laid in the mosque except for an opening approx. 7mx7m inside which only gives a small insight. The organizer as well as the guide know this and yet it is on offer. Most visitors go in and out straight away. Offer according to the organizer: - Explore the most beautiful Byzantine and Ottoman sights of Istanbul -> True - Leave the long queues behind and benefit from tickets without queuing -> True partly Hagia Sofia everyone is in line. - Enjoy a full lunch in a traditional Turkish restaurant -> Not true - Admire the blue Iznik roof tiles of the Blue Mosque -> Construction site - Visit the former residence of the Ottoman Sultans -> True - See the former Hippodrome of Constantinople - >True - Admire the impressive architecture of the Hagia Sophia ->True

Baris was great! There was no question he couldn't answer. (He majored in history!) Travelers do need to know that even though a luxury van is mentioned, there is very little riding in the van. This is mostly a WALKING tour. It was a full day. I felt like I had been "everywhere" by the end of the day. Exhausted but in a good way and full of new knowledge.
