Slovenian Coast: Stand-Up Paddle Board Rent

2. Slovenian Coast: Stand-Up Paddle Board Rent

Discovering the Slovenian coast by stand-up paddleboarding is one of the best ways to do it. Paddling over the crystal water of Moon bay under big cliffs or just having a relaxing paddle passing the old city center of Piran. In the journey, you can include stand-up paddle boarding by ordering a board for yourself. Decide where you would like to go or use our knowledge to get a recommendation tip. You will get the stand-up paddle board ready to go at the place and hour of your choice. When you finish, just leave the board in the same place or in the arranged place. Possibly in a different location (very useful for one-way trips from town to town/beach to beach). All of the stand-up paddle boards are always maintained and kept in great shape, so you do not have to worry about anything, except enjoying yourself and taking some good photos. The van is ready to bring the boards to you wherever you are for no extra cost.

From Koper: Piran and Panoramic Slovenian Coast Tour

3. From Koper: Piran and Panoramic Slovenian Coast Tour

Piran is one of the oldest and most beautiful Slovene towns, packed with rich history and culture. Almost 500 years of Venetian influence has given this town an inimitable charm. Giuseppe Tartini, the world-famous composer and violinist was born and raised in Piran and had a great impact on the town. Today, his bronze statue adorns the town’s main square together with Tartini’s house, where visitors can admire one of his original violins. The Tartini Square is surrounded by majestic buildings, such as the Municipal Palace, Tartini Theatre, Maritime Museum, Aquarium, Marine Biological Station, Baroque House and Apollonio Palace. On the hill above the town is the biggest and most important church, the Church of Saint George, which offers a wonderful view. Piran’s town wall, narrow streets, fishermen’s nets, compact houses and of course the beautiful sea will give you the feeling of walking through a painting. On the panoramic trip along the Slovene coast you will also visit the coastal towns of Portorož, Izola and Koper, where a tour guide will tell you about their main attractions, historical facts and local traditions. Portorož, which literally means 'Port of Roses', is a popular tourist destination with hotels, casinos and beautiful beaches. Located nearby are the Sečovlje natural salt pans where salts are extracted from the pure sea water using interesting and traditional methods. On this trip you will also have the chance to admire a typical Istrian village, where you will be able to familiarize yourself with local food and wine. At the end, you will visit Izola, which is known for its fishing history, and Koper, an important European port and the largest city of the Slovene Coast.

Take a stroll along the promenade, where you'll see the small port and fishing pier, Manzioli square, ornate Manzioli palace, as well as Besenghi's palace. Unfortunately, the tour was advertised in such a way that you should explore the places at your own pace. Since there was only one bus, the departure times were fixed. Nevertheless, the guide was very flexible and adjusted the times. The tour was very informative and the coupons could be easily redeemed. No sales event !!! All in all, highly recommended !!!!!!

Enjoyed seeing 4 different places on the bus as well as the tasting - coffee, ice-cream, wine and snack. Bus guides were helpful and informative. Only disappointment was to find the chocolate shop closed once our bus arrived in Koper.
