Jackson Hole is also a gateway to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks with the most stunning sceneries and wildlife. In addition, the Jackson Hole area also has rich Western traditions. You can go on horseback tours in cowboy ranches, attend rodeos, or experience covered wagon cookouts.
What are some hidden gems to see in Jackson?
One of the nicest hidden gems to see in Jackson is Granite Creek and Granite Hot Springs. These natural hot springs are located about 1-hour drive from town and are open in summer and in winter, but closed in the shoulder season. In winter, you can get here by snowmobile or with a dog sled tour, and it’s a truly unique experience to soak in the hot waters of the spring with the snowy landscapes around you.
How much time should I spend in Jackson?
While one day is enough for Jackson town itself, we recommend planning at least a week in the area. This will allow you to see the best of the Jackson Hole, visit Grand Teton National Park, and explore Yellowstone National Park.
