Full description

Journey from the West Table Boat Ramp in the Snake River Canyon. Wind your way south towards Alpine, Wyoming. Travel 8 river miles from start to finish while your guides share information on the history of the area and teach you about the local flora and fauna. There are approximately 8 sets of rapids, ranging from class I and II to class III. Various river features will be encountered, such as Lunch counter and Big Kahuna rapids, Million Dollar Fishing Hole, Gauging Straights and Bailing Straights. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Snake River Canyon, rich in geological history and unique features. You may even spot river otters, osprey and bald eagles on your trip. The lucky few might even catch a glimpse of a mountain goat, a mule deer, an elk, or even a grizzly or black bear. This is the whitewater experience you've been waiting for, so come and enjoy this beautiful canyon for yourself! This trip has 6-paddling and 2-non-paddling positions available.

So much fun

What a great experience from start to finish. We had so much fun and our guide Ben was amazing. He clearly explained everything from safety to how to handle the raft. He took the time to get to know a little bit about all of us and we learned a little about him so it felt like we were all friends. Going down the river and going through the rapids was a great experience and I would do it again.
