Not far from Funchal, and hidden in between high mountains and deep valleys, lie remote villages and hamlets such as Jardim da Serra with its splendid view over the Nuns Valley. You can explore another world by joining this Jeep safari tour, complete with panoramic views and interesting places. You will also enjoy sensational encounters with Madeira's fascinating natural heritage. Your route will pass though Funchal, Fajã das Galinhas, Boca da Corrida, Jardim da Serra, Quinta Grande, Cabo Girão, and Câmara de Lobos. At the conclusion of your enjoyable day out, you will return to your point of origin.

Starting our tour with amazing views over Funchal´s Bay , we drive uphill to Boca dos Namorados at nearly 1000 mts high above sea level , where we will be able to admire the view over the famous village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley) . From there , we’ll drive off road 4x4 Open Roof to Jardim da Serra, a place known for cherry production . In this village , we will have a quick stop in a typical Madeiran bar in a way to support the local community and economy . There you can buy coffee , tea or the very traditional drink Poncha (freshly made) . We will continue towards Cabo Girão, the highest cliff in Europe and second in the world with 580 mts , better known for its renovated viewpoint with suspended glass floor (2 € not included). Later , we finish our tour visiting Henriques & Henriques a Madeira wine lodge company , where our guests will have the opportunity to taste the famous Madeira wine (Sweet / Medium Sweet / Dry / Medium Dry) (included). After the Jeep tour, our guests will be dropped off at Funchal’s Harbor to start the Dolphin Watching Trip. Come on board the Catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast of Madeira. The boat trip takes 3 hours with strong possibilities of watching Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the trip, the crew will give you detailed information about the cetacean species that you are able to see.In the summer months there is the possibility of swimming below Cabo Girao cliff. This trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor.

Depart Funchal by open 4WD vehicle and journey to one of the island's most impressive views. Upon arrival we will have a short introduction and I will go through the plan of the day with you, to make sure it is customized to your interests as best as possible!
