Take a ferry to La Graciosa and have free time to explore before having lunch and drinks.  Begin your tour in the late morning with pickup at your accommodation in Lanzarote. Hop on the air-conditioned bus and travel to LagOmar, where you can enjoy the house of the famous actor Omar Shariff, the cave museum, and the lake. Marvel at breath-taking views of the north coast of Lanzarote on the open upper deck. Once you arrive on the island, have free time to explore the small fishermen village and its handcraft market.  Experience the charm of local life or join in activities like hiking, cycling, swimming at pristine beaches, or take a jeep tour. Lunch is served on the ferry back to Orzola and drinks are included. Take a shuttle back to your hotel at the end of your tour.

Following the Footsteps of César Manrique: Four Art Centers

2. Following the Footsteps of César Manrique: Four Art Centers

César, a multidisciplinary artist, painter, sculptor, conservator of monuments and tourist resorts, designer of landscapes and gardens, and recognized ecologist, created from natural volcanic accidents a tendency that impacted the world. He managed to unite Art, Urbanism and Tourism in a single concept, under a philosophy and model of urban intervention based on sustainability and respect for the natural values of the territory, into what is now a world reference. The Island would be different without the Monument to the Peasant, Los Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Río, Cactus Garden or the Cave of the Greens. It would certainly be less attractive and with much less personality. Not visiting these Centers and works of art, being able to interpret them, is like not even having travelled here. This tour offers you the opportunity to discover the North of Lanzarote having a panoramic of Haría, Riscos de Famara and Volcán de la Corona. You will have the privilege to visit the art centers of Cesar Manrique such as Monument to the Peasant, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Río and Fundación César Manrique. Choose if you wish to visit Jameos del Agua or Cueva de los Verdes, two marvelous art centers which are a must in your visit to Lanzarote.

Nice excursion but it's a shame to do the cactus garden and Lagomar in 50 minutes each. It would take 15 minutes more to appreciate it even more but you have to respect the departure of the ferry despite that everything is well organized, The guide is pleasant and attentive.

Really enjoyed the tour. Packed in lots of different sites and the day whizzed by. Tour guide was accommodating and rearranged the day so we could have more time at Manrique’s house at the end of the day. Only negative was the Restaurant for lunch wasn’t that great.

Well worth the money, the Cesar Manrique Foundation is very informative about the man himself and the guide has a vast knowledge of the facts. The Cactus Gardens are beautiful and there are about 2000 different cacti. The view from the windmill is exceptional.

It was an amazing tour except everything was a bit to quick. Sometimes the visit was less then 50 minutes so you don’t really get to enjoy the facilities. But, the work of Manrique’s was worth the visit !

Very Good day trip with amazing, knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed every attraction and lunch . Highly recommend!!
