Full description

Enjoy a day exploring some of the most significant holy sites in Israel on an excursion by bus from Jerusalem. The guided tour sets out from the city early in the morning and drives along the scenic coast via Tel Aviv and the plain of Armageddon to Nazareth.

Arrive in Nazareth and visit St. Joseph’s Church and the Church of the Annunciation. The largest Roman Catholic church in the Middle East, the Church of the Annunciation is, according to tradition, the scene of the annunciation of the Virgin Mary.

Continue onwards via Kafr Kanna to view the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Set on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee, you will stop to view the sea, and continue to the nearby ruins of the ancient synagogue of Capernaum.

Visit Tiberias on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, considered one of the 4 Holy Cities of Judaism, along with Jerusalem, Hebron, and Safed. Drive to the Jordan River at Yardenit, where guests are invited to receive an optional baptismal service.

Return to Jerusalem via a scenic route that takes in views of Mt. Tabor, the site of the transfiguration.

If you’re really interested in seeing churches and/or being baptized in the Jordan River, this is a great tour for you. Personally, it felt a little rushed to me (partly because the bus was late, partly because people kept disappearing from the tour group). Also, the kibbutz we stopped at for lunch was kinda pricey for cafeteria food (86 shekels).

Overall it’s remarkable! The tour guide Orion I have to commend him and the driver for making our trip smooth and unforgettable! The only suggestion I can make is when finding the people , a better system can be used I.e putting up a sign in a placard so that people can see who are they joining I also found it in other tour groups

There’s a lot of us in the tour and almost always the guide had to find the missing members of the group which uses a lot of time, which made the tour a bit hurried. We didn’t have time to enjoy the places we visit because we were busy taking photos to save for remembrance, we couldn’t even read the captions on paintings and arts or relics. The pick up was delayed by an hour. This has already been commented many times, I wonder why it still happens and if their reasoning was always because one of the participants were late for their pick up. Over-all it was an insightful journey which we enjoyed if not for the things mentioned above. And also, don’t let me start about how expensive the food is where we stopped for late lunch. It was a rip off for a piece of fried fish a few strands of french fries and a salad bar.
