Full description

The tour begins in Jerusalem, as you head toward the Jordanian border. Cross at the Allenby Bridge border, and enter Jordan, driving through the desert for about an hour to then have a local lunch. Continue towards the exquisite desert landscape of Wadi Rum, virtually untouched by humanity. Travel through the vast scenic desert valley on a 4×4 Jeep tour, providing the best possible experience of this moon-like landscape, the red sand dunes, towering cliffs of weathered stone, and desert animals with the sunset’s beautiful colors.

From there, go to a Bedouin camp near Petra where you will enjoy Bedouin hospitality, including an Arab-style dinner and a comfortable bed for the night. Before going to sleep, sit beneath the clear desert skies and stargaze, as you drink a cup of delicious Bedouin tea. Waking up early the next morning, have a quick breakfast before getting on the bus and departing for Petra. This day of the trip is focused entirely on Petra, a famous archeological site set in a stunning red sandstone landscape. Discover the site, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

You will have the whole morning to tour Petra with a guide, before taking a lunch break at a local restaurant. Then in the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore the various sites, such as the monastery, on your own before heading back to camp for dinner and another night in the Bedouin camp. The third day of this tour will be a half day. Start with breakfast at the campsite and from there drive to Madaba, an ancient Jordanian city, and go up to the viewpoint of Mount Nebo. Have lunch and then head back to the Allenby Bridge border crossing, and arrive in Jerusalem in the afternoon.

Awesome tour !! Border crossings are a little bit sketchy, because there is no guide so it can be a bit daunting and long, but it’s inevitable. Our guide in Jordan, Abdallah, was amazing. Super knowledgeable guy. Would totally recommend. Just be aware it’s a long and tiring 3 days, but very worth it. :)

The itinerary for Day 1 was completely different from when I booked it. The visits to Jerash and Amman were replaced with other visits which didn’t match the expectations. Never received any information about this although the tour guide claims this “new” itinerary has been in place since February (now end of October). Petra delivers but is being over commercialised. Wadi Rum is nice but we were only there for two hours.

I did a tour with Abraham Tour to Jordan- the 3 day option and we all had a blast. I did it in September 2022 I lucked out in having an amazong bunch of people in my group, our guide Wally (spelt I think Wa`hle or similar) was amazing. He is easily in my top 5 guides ever.... Abraham have terrible reviews from 2019 but newer reviews were amazing so I took a chance and decided it will be them. Also, theit itinery aligned with what I want to see. They were truly really good and my whole group had a lot of fun. I said I will go back to Jordan and I think partly because of the fun time I had. I spent a couple days wondering- 2 or 3 day tour. 3 day tour might be more expensive, but I do think you need a full day in Petra. We walked so much and went to the monastery and around. I think a couple hours are not enough. If you go for the 3 day one, the visa fee is lifted. Jordan is amazing and the Jordani guide and driver were terrific!
