Yosef was a funny guide who gave us a lot of information and always responded to our requests (coffee, toilet, shade, more or less details, etc.) He was religiously and politically very pleasantly neutral and managed to make the best of it 1/2 day to make Jerusalem. Thanks very much!

We booked this tour very naively, thinking it would be like any other short city tour (I've done these in literally 20+ countries around the world). Our big take-away from this tour was how much we had underestimated that everything in Jerusalem is political - a very useful lesson. This tour was run by an American-Israeli who presented all information from this perspective. We initially thought it would be worth continuing the tour as we should be open to all perspectives and that it might give an interesting insight to this side of a complex issue. Unfortunately we got to the point where we didn't feel we could complete the tour and dropped out before the end as many of the statements made by the tourguide made us extremely uncomfortable and were so obviously skewed to this persons personal opinions that it was difficult to accept much as "fact". We will instead try to find a more neutral or nuanced tour option, which shows respect to all of the major religions of the city.
