Full description
Enjoy a full-day exploring some of the most significant holy sites in Israel on a full-day excursion by coach from Jerusalem. The 12-hour tour sets out from the city early in the morning and drives along the scenic coast via Tel Aviv and the plain of Armageddon to Nazareth. Arrive in Nazareth and visit St. Joseph’s Church and the Church of the Annunciation. The largest Roman Catholic church in the Middle East, the Church of the Annunciation is, according to tradition, the scene of the annunciation of the Virgin Mary. The architect Giovanni Muzio built the striking new basilica in the 1960s. Continue onwards via Kfar Kana to view the Mount of Beatitudes and Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Set on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee, you will stop to view the sea, and continue to the nearby ruins of the ancient synagogue of Capernaum. Visit Tiberias on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, considered one of the 4 Holy Cities of Judaism, along with Jerusalem, Hebron and Safed. Drive to the Jordan River at Yardenit, where guest are invited to receive an optional baptismal service. You will return to Jerusalem via a scenic route that takes in views of Mt. Tabor, the site of the transfiguration.

The tour guide was ok. It is worth to visit Nazaret, Capernaum once in a lifetime, but it is not real I think! People hundreds of years ago built some temple somewhere and the told us that was the house of Maria or Jozef, etc, but is is not real I think. If you want to see real things go to Jerusalem: Western Wall, Western Wall Tunnel, City of David, Siloam, Bethesda. Massada.

We did the Nazareth, Tiberias & Sea of Galilee tour from Jerusalem in English. The guide was well prepared, and overall there was enough time to see each of the sites. However, the pick up arrangements were not well organised - for this reason 4 stars rather than 5 stars. Our pick up time was at 5.50 am, but we had to wait more than one hour before we left with the bus. It would be better either to have one single pick up point for everyone, or to calculate the time based on the order/distance of each individual pick up point with respect to the last pick up point.

Fabulous. We saw many sights and Dan our tour guide was impressive with his knowledge and understanding. It is rare to have a tour guide be so concerned about his travel lots but Dan was constantly aware of the needs and wants of over 30 people. One thing that was disappointing was the River Jordan baptism, they should tell people before they pay for robe and towel that is no priest there to perform the ritual. Many bought and pUd for the gown and towel only to find out that there was no priest available.
