Pretoria city is the administrative capital of South Africa and is known as the "Jacaranda City”, mainly for its jacaranda-lined avenues and fascinated architecture. Whilst here you can visit historical monuments such as the Paul Kruger house which was built in 1884. Paul Kruger was the leading man in the Transvaal War against Britain between 1889-1891. Paul Kruger was then elected the President of the Zui-Afrikaansche Republiek and took up residence at Kruger House in Pretoria. The Voortrekker Monument is situated in Pretoria in a nature reserve, it is a Monument that commemorates the history of South Africa and the history of the Afrikaners, not forgetting the Union Buildings which house the offices of the president and are located in Tshwane. Union Building is not situated in the center of Pretoria, but is situated rather in the highest point of Pretoria and is a South African national heritage site.

This tour is very informative with many insightful aspects of South African history. Our tour guide, Pascal, was not only very knowledgeable, he was also astute in his understanding of this country’s diversity, racial dynamics and the political sphere. As bilingual (English/French) speakers from Haiti, we appreciated our tour guide’s command of both languages. This allowed for further insights into the dynamics of this fascinating country. I would highly recommend this tour, and Pascal as a guide, to any future visitor.

excellent guide spoke English very well enough to understand even me who knows him little showed us everything and on the way from Johannesburg to Pretoria he showed us all the interesting things we saw along the way, a very comfortable car he was really kind, and the service was fabulous every now and then a confirmation text arrived with the minutes that were missing I recommend this trip to everyone is cheap and worth a lot

Great. Very well organized. Guia Pascoal of the best I've ever had, with above-average knowledge. Very good.

My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Nic. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and thoughtful to our interests.
