Tebugo, our guide, was excellent throughout. He taught us a lot about the history of South Africa and of course about Soweto. We had an experience beyond our expectations. We don't imagine Soweto like this. We also visited Mandela's house (R60/person) and the towers of Soweto. It is necessary to plan an uber to return from the towers to the place of departure where you are parked (cost around R40 for two/three). Having made the visit in the morning, we were treated to a “kota” (local sandwich). If you want to taste local beers, you have to add R45 per person. You also need to provide a few rands in cash if you want to buy souvenirs or give tips. We highly recommend this visit. We had an original and real perspective of Soweto.

wonderfull tour trough Johannesburg with our guides Mathapelo and Jerry. They are full of knowledge and takes you trough the urban city in a very safe way. Unfortunately the Carlton Towers has stopped taking visitors for the 360 view even though the tour description says it is a part of the tour. But our guides was so nice that they gave us another option to view the skyline! so happy for that. Really reccomend this tour! Thank you OneDayAfrica.

Fantastic experience - I would highly recommend to visitors who want to really experience South Africa and not just enjoy the nice beaches and restaurants. Tebogo was an amazing tour guide, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and it was a real highlight of our trip.

Great trip to learn more about South Africa’s history and see different sides of Johannesburg in one day. My guide, Khutso, was wonderful, and even though I was by myself I had fun and felt safe.

Goodwill was amazing and knowledgeable. I would recommend your tour again to friends
