The bay itself is a place of incredible natural beauty, with an impressive landscape, warm, crystal clear, waters and golden sandy beaches where sea turtles often return to lay their eggs. Heading west we paddle towards the imposing Rock, the islet located at the south side of the bay. The Rock is also a place of nesting and resting place for many species of birds. We admire its impressive natural stone arch and visit a few of its sea caves and galleries. Our next stop is the unhabituated island of Sphacteria. Here, we jump out of our kayaks, stretch our legs and walk to the island’s viewpoint for taking pictures of an idyllic landscape and for story-telling. A few minutes later we shall make a stop at a secluded beach for swimming and snorkeling, and why not some cliff diving for those who feel more adventurous. Dimitra's excellent introduction to this world of Olive Oil, she introduced us to the cultivation, history and whole culture of Kalamata olive oil, with her enthusiasm and general knowledge about the Olive Oil route and its flavors.

This is not just an olive tour, it’s a unique and authentic Greek experience. A must if you are visiting Kalamata or Costa Navarino. The host, Dimitra, is amazing and will ensure you have a truly memorable day!

We were a small group of only 4 people + guide. It is already very commendable that the tour was carried out with only a few participants. It was very pleasant and had a certain individuality.

The tour was great! Our guide (George) was very friendly and experienced. He knew the perfect spot and timing to take us. All very organized and super smooth. Would definitely recommend!
