Termessos & Duden Waterfalls: 6-Hour Tour with Lunch

4. Termessos & Duden Waterfalls: 6-Hour Tour with Lunch

Discover Termessos, an ancient Pisidian city built at an altitude of 1,000 meters on the south-west side of Solymos Mountain. The site is located 30 kilometers north-west of Antalya. On this 6-hour tour you’ll also discover a variety of rare plant and animal species in and around the site, which are under protection of the Termessos National Park. Concealed by a multitude of wild plants and bounded by dense pine forests, the ruins have an untouched appearance, creating a distinct atmosphere that differs from other ancient city sites. Wearing sturdy footwear is essential, as you’ll be exploring the area on foot. To access parts of the site there is some fairly strenuous uphill walking and climbing involved. Some of the popular sights you’ll see are the lower city walls, the theater, temples, and a fire lookout tower. It’s well worth the walk to see the spectacular theater, a well-preserved site that was constructed in the Greek style with seating for around 4,000 spectators. Perched precipitously on the hillside, with incredible views of the surrounding mountain peaks, it is the most dramatic feature of Termessos. You’ll continue on to Duden Waterfalls, where the mountain streams that come down from the peaks reach the Mediterranean in a series of spectacular cascades from the rocky cliff tops.

Just picked up in front of the hotel. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the previous group to return. That made it almost a day excursion. The glasses and mouth protection that you can buy there are definitely recommended. The pictures taken there are nice. You can also take the photos yourself. Be careful not to get wet. A protection is not superfluous. You don't have to expect too much from the swim piece. Small stream. Take a bottle of water with you. The quad ride is top notch! Definitely recommended everywhere

All in all it was a very cool experience and a lot of fun. Everything is explained in detail before the tour and a “test drive” is carried out. Photos & videos are taken with very good quality. The organizers were super friendly and really made an effort.

My husband and I had a very nice experience and a lot of fun. However, one could work on the hygiene in the toilets. Otherwise great!!!

Everything that was described in the activity plan was followed. It was well organized and everyone involved had a lot of fun.

Really good experience, helpful staff. Picked up on time. Highly recommended.
