  • Karlovy Vary Full-Day Tour with Lunch from Prague

    1. Karlovy Vary Full-Day Tour with Lunch from Prague

On this 9.5-hour excursion, you’ll be picked up at your Prague hotel and head off on a drive to the largest and most popular spa town in the Czech Republic. The history of this Bohemian town dates back to the 14th century. Today, Karlovy Vary is also well known for its film festival, which takes place every year. Enjoy a walk along the colonnade through the historic center, where you’ll find the thermal springs. The most famous of the springs, Vřídlo, spurts boiling hot water to a height of 12 meters. Sample the healthful waters and enjoy a 3-course lunch, before taking some time on your own to visit a spa house or the renowned Jan Becher Museum. At the end of the tour, you’ll head back to Prague and the driver will then drop you off in the city center or at your hotel.

My mother and I booked a last minute trip to Karlovy Vary and fell in love with the town. Quite honestly, I wish you could leave me here permanently! It's a beautiful midieval spa town in the middle of the Bohemian valley, stuck in time, with 18 natural mineral springs and geysers. Absolutely picturesque! We also stopped at the Moser glass factory to see how the famous glass works are made. The only downside is that you don't have too much free time to spend on your own. I don't think the lunch portion is necessary, and then you'd have more free time to explore and maybe visit a spa for a few hours. Regardless, the tour is well worth it. A must see!

Wonderful day trip!

My husband and I had a great time with our guide to this wonderful town! It ended up being only my husband and I going that day so our trip was very personalized. Our guide was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the town and answered all of our questions. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!

Private tour with VIP treatment

We were the only two persons in the tour. The guide was very kind and provided us many information on the way. It was a great tour experience.

It was a quite good trip and we loved the countryside.

We were disappointed that we were not told before we reserved that the glass factory would be closed with no workers.

Only minor thing was the choice of restaurant and food quality.
