Each tour includes stops at two Kentucky bourbon distilleries with full tours and tastings, plus lunch at a locally-owned Kentucky restaurant. Following the experience, return to Louisville with a greater understanding of Kentucky's bourbon tradition. The adventure begins with pickup by a personal chauffeur and drop-off to your lodgings for the weekend. After check-in, receive your evening plans, which are designed just for you. The following morning begins with a light breakfast and then heads straight to the family owned and operated Willett Distillery. Enjoy exclusive access to the Willett products before the distillery is open to the public, and dive right into the rich American history of bourbon making. Next, embark on another early-access shopping adventure at Heaven Hill, and sip on barrel aged Elijah Craig coffee while you shop. Later, enjoy a private behind-the-scenes tour at Heaven Hill’s impressive Bourbon Heritage Center, followed by an elevated tasting session, which includes William Heavenhill’s 13-year-old bourbon. Explore Kentucky's Horse Country and learn of past and future Derby stars at two thoroughbred horse farms. After being picked up from central Louisville, make your way to the city of Versailles for a visit to Sun Valley Farm. Explore this family-owned and operated horse farm which has produced more than 200 stakes horses worldwide over the past 20 years. Next, make your way to the historic Hermitage Farm. Explore the farm which has an 80-year tradition of producing winning racehorses. See the daily workings of this farm which has produced winners of the Kentucky Derby, the Breeder's Cup, and Kentucky Oaks. After your tours, enjoy lunch at a local Southern-inspired restaurant. Then, make your way back to Louisville with drop-off in the city center.
