Discover the fascinating world of coral reefs and learn the fundamentals about rehabilitating these unique ecosystems in this workshop. Study how to propagate coral using live rocks and broken coral fragments collected from the reef.  Supporting more species per unit area than any other marine environment, coral reefs are some of the most diverse ecosystems on the plant. However, the health of global coral reefs is in serious decline. Provide a solution to this problem by supporting the reproduction of coral through coral propagation. The founding principle of Ocean Quests’ Coral Propagation Program (CPP) is to rebuild damaged reefs, not to create new ones. Making use of all-natural methods, this program helps to rehabilitate and replenish the reefs. No unnatural items such as plastic or cement are brought into the process. The workshop will take place from either shore or boat, so there is no need for diving experience in order to participate.
