Korčula’s records of time date back to the Neolithic period. Legend says that Korčula was home to the beautiful Greek mythology hero – Korkyra. It is even said that Korčula is named after her. These days Korčula presents a combination of stunning nature and impressive history. It is known for beautiful beaches and it is even called “Croatian Santorini”. Korčula counts thousands of years of culture, history, and tradition! Hundred years old olive trees, vineyards, fruit and vegetable productions assure you that you will eat good and local food in Korčula. Memories on the great Croatian singer Oliver Dragojević, who was born in Korčula, keep lovely Dalmatian music and atmosphere on every step. Highlights of the tour: On the way from Dubrovnik first stop is Ston where you get to enjoy a cup of morning coffee. In an hour of free time in Ston you can walk the narrow streets, see the walls of Ston or meet some of the local shellfish farmers. While passing the salt pans, we continue to Orebić, where we cross the Pelješac channel to reach the island. On the way from Orebić to Korčula you get to enjoy the views on surfers and kiters! Once you get to the island, you first do a short tour of the city, followed by three hours of free time. In the free time you can enjoy the colorful, charming streets, go for a swim in the crystal clear sea or enjoy the local cuisine. On the way back, we make a stop in one of the Pelješac wine shops where you get to try excellent local wines. You can buy some souvenirs, even wine, and after all, enjoy the beautiful ride through the wine region back to Dubrovnik.

An evening kayaking your starting from Tatinja Bay in Lumbarda. After meeting your guide and completing a 20 minute safety briefing and training session in the sea you will begin with the tour. You will visit an island famous for its quarrying history, and another one which is a home to a beautiful monastery from the 14th century complete with beautiful wild deer roaming around. After that you will paddle to the most beautiful sunset spot in the area to enjoy the calming red sun dropping into the sea. Whilst enjoying the sunset you will be able to enjoy some amazing homemade white wine called GRK that can only be found in the Lumbarda region, whilst snacking on homemade canape sandwiches complete with cheese and salted anchovies.

This is a culinary tour comprising a hands-on cooking class, a homely lunch, and a lot of fun. You’ll learn how to prepare a traditional type of pasta – the Žrnovo macaronis, typically served with a beef sauce. We’ll show you how to make the dough and how to roll out the macaronis, and then… roll your sleeves up! You first chop the dough into small pieces and then wrap them around a wooden stick rolling a macaroni. It’s not as easy as it sounds, but if you try, you’ll be proud of yourself, and you won’t be able to stop laughing. After the cooking class, you’ll have your lunch, by which we mean, the one you have just cooked! And you will not want to leave the table.

Visit to the well-known wine cellar bire in lumbarda village, notable as a holiday farm. Taste typical dalmatian wines, and sample grappa in a truly warm family ambiance. One of the most romantic island cities in Croatia, Korcula island is one of the top destinations for tourists that cruise the Adriatic. According to legend, it was founded by the Trojan hero Antenor, and was home to the Mesolithic and Neolithic peoples who first settled on this island. Most famously known to be the birth place of traveler Marco Polo in 1254, Korcula is now the second most populous island on the Adriatic, filled with historical and cultural heritage. Ston is the first stop after departing from Dubrovnik. With well preserved city walls which once protected the town during the medieval times, Ston is a charming town with rich history. An optional visit to the ancient salt-works before continuing on the Peljesac peninsula will allow for an interesting stop on the tour. Enjoy the beautiful green scenery, vineyards and blue bays along the way before arriving to Orebic to embark on a boat ride to the magnificent island of Korcula. Once in town, visit the cathedral, city museum, and the house of Marco Polo. Followed is free time to walk through the Old Town and its abundant souvenir shops, and have lunch at a tavern of your choice serving many delicious Dalmatian specialities. After saying good-bye to this marvellous island, there is one last stop to be made on your return, as the Peljesac peninsula is known as one of the most famous Croatian wine regions. Enjoying in an extraordinary wine tasting is a delightful ending to the journey as you continue back to Dubrovnik.
