After being picked up from the port in Kos, take a stunning boat cruise across the Aegean Sea to Bodrum. Once you have passed through passport control and customs, enjoy a full day to explore this incredible ancient city on your own.  When you arrive in the port, gaze in awe at the beautiful white houses built amphitheatrically on the hillside, dozens of sailboats and yachts, plus one of the most imposing castles in the world. Take a walk along the picturesque streets and admire the architecture. Take in the historical sights and ancient ruins, including the Castle and the ancient Greek city of Halicarnassus, the Windmilles, and the ancient Greek Theatre with 13,000 seats. If you are not a history lover, take a stroll through the small streets and get to know the local cuisine instead. Enjoy a Turkish coffee or tea at a traditional coffee shop, or try 'kebab' and other traditional 'mezedes' and sweet 'kazandibi' - some of the most popular Turkish specialties. After that, head into the really big bazaar for a chance to practice your bargaining skills.

Shop for all kinds of souvenirs, folk art, crafts, and clothing. Soak up the incredible lively atmosphere and enjoy the aromas of the spices and local produce. Many stallholders accept euros and almost everyone speaks Greek or English. For a truly Turkish experience, visit a Turkish bath for a little relaxation. Discover how Turkish bathhouses have held a special place in the Turkish culture for hundreds of years. Relax in the steam roam while a highly skilled masseur works away the stresses and strains that have built up in your body during the year. At the end of your incredible day trip, take the boat back to Kos Port in time for your onward journey.

This booking is for a solo day trip to Bodrum. Basically it is the price for the ferry trip, don’t expect any guiding etc. Probably it is cheaper if you book directly in the Kos harbor, but we liked the convenience of doing it online and being sure our passport and visa needs were checked before. Company contacted us the day before via WhatsApp and asked for a copy of our documents and explained where to get the tickets in the harbor pier area (with photos etc). Really clear and easy to follow. Overall really nice staff, also in the boat! Only issues: 1. Boat left 40minutes later than scheduled due to the fact they were waiting for late passengers. Don’t know if they got stuck in immigration… They said they can’t leave without them, so be aware that you it can happen that your trip also gets delayed. 2. But the boat crew was lovely and also delayed our return time in 30minutes to compensate (nice!). 3. Journey took 35-40min, not 20m as advertised, but it’s a nice boat ride! :)

Very easy process. Was contacted day before for passport info and where to collect ticket. Ferry was a relaxing 40 minutes. In Bodrum roughly 5 hours. Enough time to visit the castle (wear good shoes), do some shopping, have a drink by the beach and lunch at the marina. A good day out.

It was a very fun cruise, the people on the upper deck got really wet. In itself everything was great, it was easy to get to Bodrum (speedboat). The only problem was the departure time. According to the ticket and advance information, it's actually 9:30 a.m., but then it doesn't leave until 10:15 a.m. What no one on board understood...why are people still allowed through to the ticket sale AFTER the actual departure time?
