    About half way along the coast between Than Bok Khorani and Krabi town is a bay of mangroves that is one of the most beautiful in Thailand. Arrive at the private pier and depart to the mangrove forest area. Here, bays and canyons are like passageways. This recently discovered area is a superb setting for having an encounter with an ecosystem unlike others. This bay is known for its rich fauna. Certainly a highlight of this setting is the narrow channels which are passable during all but extremely low tide periods. Several species of Kingfishers, Little Herons and Crab-Eating Macaques are almost guaranteed sightings in the remains of a jewel of a destination, undeveloped and without being horrendously crowed. Option with Hong Island Visit: Hong Island stands out as the most beautiful island of the Andaman cost. As you approach from the sea, the towering limestone formation & crystal clear water inspires images of the deserted. In the middle of this beautiful island there lies a hidden lagoon spot for local fisherman and also one place where bird nests are collected. The coral reefs here are amazing and siphons can also be found. Option with Sunset and BBQ Dinner: Your final destination on the tour will be Laem Jamoog Kway. Here you can shower off the salt water in the natural spring waters cascading down from the cliff. Take a short climb to witness the best sunset in Thailand. Relax and enjoy the sunset while you wait for your BBQ being prepared at the beach. After finishing your BBQ dinner, you may continue to relax as a Longtail Boat takes you back to the Sea Kayak Pier under a blanket.

    One of the best activities in Krabi. very good organisation, guide very nice, had best English in Krabi, took many pictures of us. the tour itself is nice altough due low level of sea we didint do the circle tour only there and back by same route. have not seen many animals, but fauna, silence, atmosphere was amazing. we really enjoyed and were happy. lunch was delicious, one of the best on Krabi. totally recommend.

    Absolutely the best day we’ve spent in Thailand (Phuket and Krabi) so far! Really friendly and helpful staff. Pick up on time in Aonang for the 30min drive to Ao Thalane. I recommend the 8 hour option because the tide varies day by day, with highest tide at full moon, and the main mangroves are only accessible by kayak at high tides. So if you have the Hong island trip as well, the tour guides will switch the itinerary to give you kayaking either in the morning or afternoon depending on tide. Hong island is gorgeous, with a natural lagoon in the centre. You pass several other islands on the way there and back, so lots of photo ops with the ‘long tail boats’ passing. There’s a fairly tough climb to a high lookout point, but also great snorkeling and a nature trail through the island. The kayaking takes you through sea water canyons between high rock formations, and through mangroves with birds, insects and monitor lizards. The sea kayaks are safe but a little uncomfortable, I found.

    This tour is actually unbelievable. We got there and were the only ones on the tour because of low tourism at the moment. Our tour guide Anan was the kindest most knowledgable guide. We kayaked and saw monkeys held crabs and saw amazing views. We then went for lunch and we expected a street food kind of place which we have no problem with, but it was this amazing cafe which we couldn’t believe for the price. I think that what made this day so special was Anan and his photography skills. Honestly he took so many pictures that I will treasure forever and even made us a video. This is the best tour in krabi and I can’t believe how inexpensive it is. Do not go with any other kayak tour and do this one you won’t regret it one bit!
