Full description

Visit Auschwitz on a day trip from Krakow. Learn about the history of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camps during a guided tour with a certified historian and guide. Auschwitz-Birkenau was founded in 1940 by Nazi Germany and was the largest concentration camp operated by the Nazis. It became the final resting place for millions of people, mostly Jews and Poles, who were murdered in gas chambers. Upon arrival, you may visit the museum and memorial in the suburbs of Oświęcim, about 60 kilometers west of Krakow. Then, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes later, meet your professional guide for an in-depth tour. Pass through the gate with the inscription "Arbeit macht frei" to enter Auschwitz I, where your guide will show you around the preserved area and explain the history of the site.

Then, visit the second camp at Birkenau, where mass killings took place as part of the Nazi "Final Solution to the Jewish Question." Spend about 1 hour at the Birkenau camp, before meeting your driver for the return journey to Kraków.

Brilliant and overwhelming experience, nothing can compare to seeing this place from your own eyes! Our minibus driver was fabulous, he kept us informed on meet up points and times. Both sides of the tour were very informative, English speaking guide was lovely she gave us so much information and took us absolutely everywhere! Brace yourself for the walking we managed 9miles this day, thank you Stacey & Mike

I don't give my best for the simple fact that they changed the time due to the fact of the covid, they had booked for 8.30 and instead they told us that they came to pick us up at 9 and a half (even if he arrived late around 10 ) being late the guide went too fast in the explanation .. for this reason I did not like it so much but I recommend it anyway.

Great experience. Reliable, punctual and precise. I booked through the site and the day before the visit I received a message with the pick-up point. We were a dozen. They took us in a small van and took us home. The guide was very nice and she was super prepared, she accompanied us all the way. Super recommended!
