Start with a climb downstairs to a depth of 64 meters. You will be led through a number of chambers and shown underground lakes, shrines, and salt monuments. Follow the underground trail through numerous drifts and galleries, where traces of mining activity have been preserved. I really enjoyed the Salt Mine tour itself - it’s definitely worth a visit. The only downside was the transfer from the meeting point and back. We were asked to arrive at 10.30am at the meeting point however once actually getting to the Salt Mines we were then informed our tour wasn’t for another hour so we needed to find something else to do and come back. We were also waiting an hour for the driver to pick us up after the tour had finished. The timings could have been better organised as we wasted 2 hours just waiting around.

We really enjoyed the tour! Amazing things to see underground! The guide who explained everything inside was so good with e great sense of humour! I would definately reccomend it! I would ask once again the option to have a tour in greek. I am really sorry that it is excluded from the language options

Bueno en realidad nos explican el lugar que visitamos pero no se dice nada de como se trabajaba, de la vida en aquella época. Es mas la visited de monumental. The guia muy maja agradable there. Cuando llegas con el bus todo el mundo va perdido te Ensñan el lugar de encuentro con ua simple foto y ala ... buscate la vida. La verdad el transfer a la mina muy mal organizado, la visita génial
