Excellent driver. The St. Kingas Church inside the mine was the reason for our visit. Otherwise it had much of a Dis St.ney-like visit. Very well graded walking paths, and incredibly clean. Been to 3 other salts mines in the last 2 weeks, this one was the least informative about the actual mining and extraction process, however our guide was well informed.

Our driver krzysztof (hopefully spelt right) was a lovely guy, very friendly and gave us some interesting info on the way to the mines. He collected our tickets and brought us through security and explained the process of which line we needed to be in and what time our tour started (we were there about 30mins early). Our group was much smaller than normal groups due to covid19, there was around 15 of us, and our english speaking guide Elizabeth was lovely, very softly spoken and tried joking with us all even though they might not have always landed. Because she was so softly spoken sometimes it was difficult to hear what she was saying from the back. She was very knowledgeable though and answered any questions the group had other than the information that she provided about the different areas of the tour. Its an interesting day trip. It may not be for everyone though, especially those with mobility issues as there is a lot of walking and a LOT of stairs down to each level.

We really enjoyed this trip but be prepared for a lot of walking with a fairly fast pace and lots of steps going down. Had a couple of 10 minute breaks during the trip one to take pics in the main cathedral area and another to grab a drink/wee break. Guide was very knowledgeable and kept the group together well. The mine is huge and you only get to see a tiny part of it, walking for a good 2 hours.
