We had a lovely evening with Manjeet! She was extremely knowledgeable about the food, history, and culture of KL and Malaysia. In addition to teaching us about the foods we ate, she also taught us about Malaysian life and the different cultures within Malaysia. We have done a handful of food tours in multiple countries and this was one of the best. Manjeet also gave us some solid recommendations for the rest of our travels. Most importantly, she was fantastic with our daughter (18 mos). Highly recommend!

The satay was delicious !!

I received an individual email from the guide, so I didn't have to worry about meeting. He came 10 minutes ago. At first, it was a food court in the basement of ISETAN, so I thought I could go on my own, but the food stalls and Indian restaurants that took me after that seemed to be unique to the locals. I'm glad that the first person was guided with a high degree of difficulty. At the food stall, I had satay and a mysterious drink (lime juice with dried plums) and it was very delicious. I've eaten satay several times, but the one I ate this time was the most delicious. The breast meat, skin, and thigh meat were evenly stabbed on the skewers, and the taste of the oil was also felt. The mysterious drink is a purveyor to the locals, so I understand why it is so popular. It was refreshing because it was based on lime juice, and the sweet and sour taste of dried plums matched. The tour leads through the food mile of Bukit Bintang. Our companion contacted us the day before the tour. She was already at the meeting place when we arrived. She guided us through the evening in a very pleasant and friendly way. Sure you can do it alone, but the information about the food, land and people as well as about the city were very informative.
