Get your hands wet and experience the thrill of navigating your own kayak while you journey downstream soaking in the rich wildlife and undeniable beauty surrounding the Peñas Blancas River. After a 25 minute drive, you will arrive at the Peñas Blancas River. Before your tour begins your guide will instruct you on how to use the kayaks and the wildlife tour ahead of you. After the orientation provided by your guide, you will begin your 2-hour journey. Upon exiting the river you will visit “The Hidalgo Family Home” where you will have the opportunity to experience and appreciate a piece of Costa Rican culture and get a taste of a traditional Costa Rican snack. Even if you are a first-timer you can feel confident kayaking with your professional naturalist guide.
