Learn about its diverse ecological landscapes and varied wildlife. Hop on your private tour bus with your guide and head straight to the Teno Rural Park. Located in the extreme northwest of the Tenerife, the park was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO as it has preserved its great ecological, landscape, and cultural values, largely thanks to its isolation. See the extremely complicated orography of this area, and marvel at the thought that people once lived here in the past. Take in its varied landscape - from its impressive cliffs, valleys, low islands, laurel forest areas, as well as magnificent examples of traditional architecture. Begin your walking route in Santiago del Teide. You will have the best views of Teno, including that of the town of Masca - one of the most impressive villages on the island of Tenerife. Leaving Santiago del Teide, begin a gentle ascent through the valley towards the summit at the limit of where the pine forest begins. Little by little, gain height and watch as fantastic views of El Teide with Pico Viejo and Santiago del Teide in the background unfurl in front of your eyes. Through the route, we will be able to observe several of the most incredible points of the park, such as the Cumbre del Bolico, or the Erjos ponds, which are wonderful. From this point on, the entire path is level or downhill. Descend through the ridges of the upper part of Masca, where you see the eponymous valley on both sides of the ridge. Although it is a moderate level route, it requires being in good physical shape to be able to travel the total 11km.

We went on the La Gomera tour as a part of our trip to Tenerife and found that it was really enjoyable. Marcel, our guide, was exemplary in speaking four languages and was more than happy to stop and talk to us individually at length about our interests. The lunch was good and varied, meaning that pickier members of the group were catered for. The views were absolutely superb and we were lucky to be in quite an empty coach. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone in or visiting Tenerife that wants to know more about La Gomera and its culture.

Absolutely enjoyed the trip to La Gomera with 4 children. Easy booking with Get Your Guide. Got 10%off as a bonus. Smooth boarding on the ferry. Comfortable coach. Stunning island. Everyone is happy. Thank you

The tour showed me the two faces of Gomera in terms of climate. It was amazing. The tour guide knows a lot about the island and he communicates it very well to other people.

Good bus transportation with a guide who gave a lot of information in 4 languages, very good quality food with typical Canarian flavors

Very nice experience with Viajes Teide company and Fred Olsen fery. Marcel, the guide is the best. I recommend 100%
