2. From Palau: La Maddalena Full-Day Archipelago Catamaran Tour

Set out from Palau on a full-day tour of La Maddalena Archipelago aboard a comfortable and stylish catamaran. Sail along the coast and stop at uninhabited islands along the way. Sunbathe, swim, and enjoy refreshments throughout the day. Depart from Palau harbor in the morning and set sail onto the crystal clear waters of Sardinia. Admire panoramic views of the island as you travel along the coast, watching out for Porto Raphael and its famous villas along the way. Pass by the Punta Sardinia lighthouse before arriving at the first stop of the day, the island of Spargi. As the boat pulls into the bay of the island, marvel at your tranquil and uninhabited surroundings. Enjoy some time to swim in the crystal clear waters at Cala Soraya, named by Princess Soraya in the 60s, or visit the bay just next to it, Cala Corsara. After your swim, regain some energy with a refreshing drink. Later, the captain will decide on the next island to visit, depending on the weather and the tide. Arrive at either Razzoli, Santa Maria, or La Maddalena and spend some more time cooling off in the water, or relaxing on deck.  Finally, arrive at the last stop of the day for more swimming around the islands. If you've brought your snorkeling gear, you can explore the marine wildlife of the area. Put your adrenaline to the test with a big jump from the catamaran, or stay onboard and sunbathe if you’d rather relax.

3. From Santa Teresa Gallura: Maddalena Archipelago Boat Trip

Explore the Maddalena Archipelago on a full-day motorboat trip and see eastern Sardinia. Stop at the most important islands such as Santa Maria and Spargi, and visit La Maddalena town center. Wander the city alleys and perhaps take the opportunity to buy some souvenirs. Board a modern motorboat with toilets and a panoramic deck and set sail for the Maddalena Archipelago. Enjoy an onboard lunch and see the legendary Pink Beach, from Budelli Island. To protect its very fragile ecosystem, no boats have been allowed to anchor or swim there since 1992. Stop on Santa Maria Island home to about 20 seasonal residents. Enjoy sunbathing and swimming in crystal clear waters. Visit the walkway at the Port of Our Lady, so named because it is considered a safe landing in almost any wind. Stop ashore for about an hour to visit the town of La Maddalena and its historic center, and wander through its charming streets. Stop at the beach at Cala Corsara on Spargi Island, and admire the beauty of the views of the north coast of Sardinia on the return voyage, including Punta Falcone, Marmorata with its Isolotto dei Gabbiani, the forts of Batteria Ferrero, and the exciting entrance to the fjord of Santa Teresa di Gallura.

What people are saying about La Maddalena Archipelago National Park

Very good tour of La Maddalena, Budelli, Spargi and Santa Maria. Food was great on board (lunch was only an extra €8-10, and drinks were cheaper than in the town), staff were friendly and helpful. There was a 10-15 min swim stop (off the boat) and 2 beach stops (1.5 - 2 hours each). Only criticism is a common one, most of the tours stop at the same beaches so they get very busy, but it's the cheapest way to see them, and they are definitely worth visiting! It's a little more expensive than some other tours but the boat was only half full so.. 100% worth it!

The most fantastic trip. super nice trip with the best guides and lovely people, we were sailed around to 4 bathing spots where there was the most beautiful water and beaches. the whole boat was just in high spirits, can definitely give this trip all the stars it can get, but remember you also have to do something yourself to have such a great experience as we had. big thanks to the 2 captains.

Great day spent on a boat. Both our tourguide and wheelsman were perfect. Unfortunately we had a not so good weather (cloudy all day), but the experience was worth it anyway.

Super tour, dreamy beaches, nice crew, nothing was left to be desired.

Nice trip with nice guides. Would recommend and book again
