From Palau: La Maddalena Archipelago Full-Day Boat Tour

1. From Palau: La Maddalena Archipelago Full-Day Boat Tour

Explore the beauty of North Sardinia on a full-day boat cruise of the La Maddalena archipelago. Sailing onboard the Lady Luna 2, visit the most beautiful islands of a magnificent natural park, stop to swim on sandy beaches, and more. Depart from the harbor in Palau for the short, 35-minute sail to Budelli. Marvel at the pink sand of Spiaggia Rosa, the dramatic rock formation of Roccia del Coccodrillo, and splash in the sea from Piscine Naturali. Continue to Santa Maria island and feel the warmth of the Mediterranean Sea. Make a long stop at the beach there to sunbathe and relax. After the stop, take a break for lunch, and if you wish, you can buy typical Sardinian dishes on board or bring your own food. Arrive next at Spargi island, where the beaches of Cala Corsara or Cala Granara are lapped by emerald waters and protected from the wind to create perfect conditions for sunbathing. End the tour with a stop at La Maddalena island and visit the town of La Maddalena. Wander the colorful streets to find souvenir shops or gaze at the boats in the Cala Gavetta marina. En route back to Palau, sail past Santo Stefano and Caprera islands for the last look at the high life of the seas.

From Palau: La Maddalena Full-Day Archipelago Catamaran Tour

2. From Palau: La Maddalena Full-Day Archipelago Catamaran Tour

Set out from Palau on a full-day tour of La Maddalena Archipelago aboard a comfortable and stylish catamaran. Sail along the coast and stop at uninhabited islands along the way. Sunbathe, swim, and enjoy refreshments throughout the day. Depart from Palau harbor in the morning and set sail onto the crystal clear waters of Sardinia. Admire panoramic views of the island as you travel along the coast, watching out for Porto Raphael and its famous villas along the way. Pass by the Punta Sardinia lighthouse before arriving at the first stop of the day, the island of Spargi. As the boat pulls into the bay of the island, marvel at your tranquil and uninhabited surroundings. Enjoy some time to swim in the crystal clear waters at Cala Soraya, named by Princess Soraya in the 60s, or visit the bay just next to it, Cala Corsara. After your swim, regain some energy with a refreshing drink. Later, the captain will decide on the next island to visit, depending on the weather and the tide. Arrive at either Razzoli, Santa Maria, or La Maddalena and spend some more time cooling off in the water, or relaxing on deck.  Finally, arrive at the last stop of the day for more swimming around the islands. If you've brought your snorkeling gear, you can explore the marine wildlife of the area. Put your adrenaline to the test with a big jump from the catamaran, or stay onboard and sunbathe if you’d rather relax.

What people are saying about La Maddalena Archipelago National Park

The most fantastic trip. super nice trip with the best guides and lovely people, we were sailed around to 4 bathing spots where there was the most beautiful water and beaches. the whole boat was just in high spirits, can definitely give this trip all the stars it can get, but remember you also have to do something yourself to have such a great experience as we had. big thanks to the 2 captains.

Great day spent on a boat. Both our tourguide and wheelsman were perfect. Unfortunately we had a not so good weather (cloudy all day), but the experience was worth it anyway.

A unique experience, the guys on board are very nice and always available. Fantastic catamaran ride. Highly recommended

If you have an excursion to do, this is the one to do. A wonderful day at sea
