Wonderful scenery – highly recommended

This is a great way to see some of the very beautiful crater lakes on Sao Miguel. We had a hire car for our week in the Azores, but still went with Seazores so that we could take in the view and not worry about traffic/parking/etc. Plus, given it’s a 4x4, the trip takes you on some scenic roads that the hire cars just can’t handle. Our guide, Natasha, was a delight. Friendly, knowledgeable, and so keen to help us make the most of our trip.

Great guide, knowledgeable, polite good english

Josep was fantastic! He is a trained and certified guide who knows and clearly explains the history, culture, flora and fauna and geology of the Azores. His pathfinder was very adequate for the 5 person private group. It was comfortable and very capable of going on the secondary mountain roads. This probably the best value tour in the Azores for those who are looking for adventure and scenic beauty in a half-day trip.

Fantastic way to see the Sete Cidades Crater Lakes!

We had a great time with Jose on this drive along the rim of the crater. He stopped wherever and whenever we wanted, as long as it was safe to do so. We had 6 in the vehicle, which was a little tight, but we didn't mind since we all took turns moving from seat to seat after stops. That way we all had a chance to ride shotgun, and no one was stuck in the very back the whole time.

Ideal for those who like some adrenaline and really feel the Azores. Although we were unlucky enough to catch some fog and a lot of rain, the experience of driving the buggy through the most secluded and adventurous paths around the seven cities made it all worthwhile, especially guided by Mr. Pedro, an Azorean, who gave them so well. do you know :)

What a great way to see Sete Cidades! The views were spectacular. Would highly recommend it. Make sure you bring jacket and sunglasses as it gets cold and very dusty.
