This family-friendly kayaking tour is great for children 5 years old and up. On this group kayaking tour, you will kayak roughly 2.5 miles (4km) through the Ukumehame Coastline. Along the way, you will have opportunities to stop and snorkel with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle and tropical fish. It is also very common to see manta rays and dolphins, as well as the Hawaiian monk seal. During whale season (October through April) you will have the opportunity to see Humpback whales during their annual migration to the Islands to mate and give birth. We ended up not going to the West Side and I’m very glad! We went to McKenna Landing near Keihi which was a closer drive. John was so awesome and fun to learn kayaking from! Our group saw several turtles and bottle nose dolphins got real close to us! He had lots of patience with us that had never kayaked before! Even got 1 man who was afraid to swim in the water!! Ask for John if you book a kayaking and snorkeling tour!! He’s the best!!

Jake our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about kayaking, Hawaiian history and the ocean. He changed locations due to the weather to make sure it was a safe trip and reviewed basic kayaking skills which was very helpful. Unfortunately didn’t see a lot of fish but still very enjoyable excursion.

Great guide took us kayaking and snorkeling! Our guide was constantly monitoring wind conditions and adjusted our route in response. Beautiful location and lots of fun!
