Everything about our trip to Venice was very well organised, picked up on time, lovely lady guide who explained everything to us and, got the most of our day in Venice. The Gondola was an extra £30 per person, but we'll organised, and a lovely trip around the buildings. Had the choice of a ste lunch with guide or finding our own, we chose to join the guide and a lot of people on our coach also chose to do this, which cost 16euros for 2 courses 1/4bottle of wine each and water, very nice, time to wonder by yourselves, met up at 5pm for journey back to Garda, lovely day!!!

Since our hotel was in the north of Lake Garda, we started early (pick-up at 7:30 a.m.) and we were in Venice around 11 a.m. Tour guide Christina was very friendly and had interesting information about Venice. Both in German and English (mixed tour group). In the bus, the gondola ride (30 €/ride about 30 minutes on the Grand Canal), lunch (16 €) and a trip to the lagoon (25 €) were offered. Not intrusive ; payment only possible in cash. We only booked the gondola ride. The lunch, as already mentioned in other reviews, wasn't that great - we heard that from other people on the bus. Better get something locally; we went to dem moros (pasta to go) in venice we went to st mark's square and the rialto bridge; around 5 p.m. departure in Venice (boat to the bus) around 9:30 p.m. we were back in Riva del garda. Exhausting but I think more relaxed than with your own car. You can buy water and beer on the bus.

It was a wonderful day . The pickup went well. A few minutes late, but that wasn't bad. We learned a lot about Venice. We had booked a German tour guide, but everything was translated into English. That was a bit annoying. Venice is very clean. The tour of Venice was a bit tiring as we hadn't brought any drinks with us. Then it was time to go to a restaurant at some point. We had booked the gondola tour and the boat trip on the Grand Canal. The gondola ride would have been more than enough. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to stroll through the beautiful streets. We could have booked lunch too, but we found a nice private restaurant right on the water. It was delicious, but it's not exactly cheap in Venice. But it was beautiful next time we'll go there privately.
