Spend an exciting 4 hours exploring 8 beautiful islands of Dayang Bunting on your very own jet ski. Jet skiing is the most fun way to explore the islands and after a short tutorial you will be free to skim across the surface of the tranquil waters at your own pace. One of the islands is home to an active monkey population that you will see playing amongst the trees as you approach. Then, float along as you discover the island's fresh water lake- the largest in Malaysia. Pregnant Maiden lake is so-called because of the outline of hills and rocky outcrops resembling the shape of a pregnant maiden lying on her back. Then swim in its fresh water, which legend has it promotes fertility. During the 4 hours, you will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities. Leave your jet skis and trek through the abundant jungle, or jump in a kayak to further discover the waters surrounding the island. Your 4-hour journey takes you on a voyage of exploration through the mangroves of Langkawi, to discover exotic plants and animal species. Many of them survive by ingenious methods in a dynamic environment of constant change, dictated by the rise and fall of the tides. Following a short drive to the jetty, get on board a boat and explore the mangrove forests and ancient limestone outcrops of the northeast of the island. Mangrove forests play an essential part in maintaining the ecological balance of the world. They influence the climate, provide shelter, and act as major nurseries for fish and shrimps. As you drift through the mangroves, look out for the bizarre land walking fishes. Watch out too for bright flashing kingfishers, and look up to see eagles and kites. If you are very lucky, you might see curious otters and playful dolphins. And don’t forget the little critters, however creepy and crawly they might seem. They are all playing a vital role in this unique environment. The optional lunch is a fixed menu comprising of chicken fried rice and iced drink of the day. The tour includes a 30-minute beach stop, dependent on sea and weather conditions. The total length of the tour is 6 hours, including the 2-hour round-trip transfer from your hotel.

Start the tour with a hotel or port pickup by the local driver and transfer to the jetty. Travel by boat through the twists and turns of the Kilim River through the maze created by aerial roots and thick fleshy leaves of the mangrove trees. Keep your eyes peeled for animals that make their home in this delicately balanced ecosystem which is responsible for the health and wide variety of species in the Andaman Sea. Also, see how the mangrove area is a perfect environment for cottage industries such as fish farms. Make your first stop when the boatman stops the engine and throws some chicken pieces out into the water to invite the eagles. Marvel as eagles dive down just next to you and claw up the chicken pieces as they soar into the sky. Then, venture out of the mangroves to admire majestic limestone rock formations and sea stacks that rise dramatically from the ocean. This ancient coral thrust into the sky millions of years ago is home to a unique and ancient group of plants found nowhere else on earth. After this, set off to explore darkened bat caves and seeped in fabled tales of mysteries and romance. Visit a floating fish farm in a secluded cove surrounded by high vertical limestone and granite cliffs. Spend a wild time hand-feeding the rays and be surprised by the other sea creatures who inhabit the tanks. After this, the boat will make your way back to the jetty and the driver will drop off from where you started from.

Depending on the tidal conditions, you can begin the tour at the coast and make your way upriver through the lush Kilim Karst Geopark, or begin upriver and float down to the coast through a network of meandering river passages. Along the way, stop to explore the mysteries of the Bat Cave, or to observe some of the many exotic plants and animal species adapting ingenious ways to thrive in a habitat dictated by the ebb and flow of the ocean tides, including kingfishers, herons, mudskippers, and monitor lizards. After about 1.5 hour into your kayaking adventure, arrive at a local fish farm/floating restaurant where you can enjoy an optional lunch (if you select the option with lunch). Savor locally prepared ingredients including seabass and refreshments. Once you've finished your lunch and had a short rest, begin the leisurely journey back to your hotel.
