    Visit one of the biggest aquariums in the Canary Islands. With over one million liters of water, there are 33 aquariums where you can observe hundreds of marine species. The aquarium shows typical Canarian species, such as turtles, clown fish, and hermit crabs. You can also admire a variety of sharks from the safety of the underwater tunnel. There are also 3 touch pools for adults and children, where you can touch and learn more about species such as sea cucumbers and sea urchins. The aquarium bring the marine world to make those who want to enjoy the wonders that the sea offers us and enjoy a moment of escape plunge into the depths of the sea. While taking in consideration the environmental education for conserving our seas and oceans. Visit the "garbage aquarium", a small model of the current status of certain areas of the Canarian coast, which aims to promote environmental awareness.

      Lovely little place, undergoing some renovations at the moment however. Staff really friendly and spoke several languages so really inclusive. Good to visit at lunch time as you can watch the animals get fed, including the sharks and the turtles! Staff round you up so you don't miss it which is great.

      My daughter and I visited the aquarium the day after we arrived in Lanzarote from England. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Lots of beautiful fish to see. We were especially taken with the details of the turtle rescue programme and the area where you can sit and watch the stingrays and fish in the large tank
