What people are saying about Launceston

I think whoever wants to visit Tasmania for a short period of time and want to make the best out of it, I recommend this tour. Tasmania is indeed very beautiful and the tour was well planned. Sometimes we would have to rush while walking and couldn’t spend enough time in some places but I guess otherwise we wouldn’t be able to see as many... Hostels that we have stayed varied in quality. I personally liked the one in Strahan the most and the good thing is that we stayed there two nights. I wish the tour guide in the beginning of the tour let us introduce ourselves like we did in Melbourne “go west-great ocean road tour”. Even on the fifth day we wouldn’t know each others names whereas in a day tour that I spend in Melbourne everybody had an idea who is who. I just recommend that to the tour company. All and all, I do recommend this tour especially if you are traveling alone or make the most out of Tasmania in restricted amount of time.

Highly recommend. The 4 hour luncheon cruise was super fun. The crew was amazing, especially the captain who provided such interesting anecdotes and information about the different locations we were passing (I must say, you will be giggling half the time with the way he guides us throughout the cruise). They served light breakfast (of cookies and muffins) with tea and coffee, followed by a light lunch which was quite tasty too, some cheese and fruit at the end. Not to forget, you get to do a bit of wine tasting with gorgeous views. Thanks for a memorable experience team!

My wife and I had a great experience during this cruise, from the friendly & courteous receptionist to Graeme, who manned the cruise. He was professional throughout, relating notable historical facts to us as we (and others) went through the cruise.

The boat is clean and new, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We learned an enormous amount about the early settlement days and the river, both from videos on the boat and our stops on the way. A delicious and well presented lunch was served.

Nice trip along the gorge, comfortable and our guide and skipper had an iniformative, laid back manner and was interested in us all. Gorge is beautiful. Only small criticism is that $33 for 50 minute trip a little bit over priced in our opinion.
