    Is driving a Trabasnt on your bucket list? NO? Well it shoud be. The Trabant was a cart/tin can built in East Germany. It is unique in it's ride, polution and noise. People actually waited years!!!?? to get one. Makes my old POS Honda Civic look like the lap of luxury. Took the tour in Leipzig DE. Got to see interesdting parts of the city while giving pedestrians something to talk about. The guides were terrific. Very helpful in showing the shifting pattern of the Trabant. The tour commentary is in German so it helps if you have an understanding of the language. But you can enjoy the experience without knowing German. (Instruction in car use can be in English). The cars are manual transmission. Challenging for those who have never driven a manual transmission (Poor you!) I highly receommend this tour. Great fun!

    My friend has long wanted a tour like this. So I booked it as a surprise and he is still blown away by the tour. As soon as he thinks of the blackboard tour, his eyes light up. The tour guides were super friendly and totally fun. There were many interesting things to see but the best way to get there was to drive in the Trabi .... the explanation and introduction was super easy and informative ... you could understand and implement everything. Even during the trip, the guides always made sure that everyone came along ... All in all, I can recommend this tour! Everyone who wants to drive a Trabi should rent this tour !!!!!!! Simply terrific ❤️❤️

    Der Guide war ein echtes Leipziger Original. Er „lebt“ Trabi, liebt seine Stadt Leipzig und vermittelte das in unserer Tour so unfassbar authentisch. Wir hatten das Glück eine Privattour zu bekommen und durften auch selbst ans Steuer-tolles Fahrgefühl! Der Trabi schluckt wirklich jedes sonst so ruckelige Kopfsteinpflaster und zieht ständig alle Blicke auf sich. Wir bekamen statt 90 Minuten sogar 150 Minuten Stadtrundfahrt, einfach weil unser Guide Zeit hatte und uns so viel wie möglich zeigen wollte. Gespickt war die Tour mit historischen Geschichten und Insider-Anekdoten, die einen zweiten Besuch in Leipzig mit jedem Wort mehr zu einem Muss machten. Wir werden diese Tour in besonderer Erinnerung behalten und danken unserem Guide für seine Großzügigkeit und die ansteckende Euphorie für eine unterschätzte beachtenswerte Stadt.
