Lisbon: Nazaré Waves and Village Private Half-Day Tour

1. Lisbon: Nazaré Waves and Village Private Half-Day Tour

Follow in the footsteps of legendary surfers, such as Garrett McNamara, on a half-day private tour dedicated to the big waves of Nazaré.  Following a pick-up from your hotel at 8:30 AM or 1:30 AM (note that these times can be adjusted due to the tides schedule, to provide you with the best experience), proceed directly to Nazaré in an air-conditioned vehicle. Although the main purpose of this tour is to see and experience the big wave surfer's paradise in Nazaré, this is a private tour so the program can always be changed or adapted to best suit your preferences. Admire the views during the 1.25 hour drive to Nazaré. After a quick tour of the traditional fishing village, go to the wave watching site where the wonderful waves can be enjoyed for as long as you wish. Take a break from watching the surfers, and go to Forte S. Miguel Arcanjo, the closest you can get to the sea without having to suit up and swim. Depending on your time and availability, you may still choose to have a meal in Nazaré, home of some of the world's best fish and seafood. Finally, relax and enjoy the ride back to your hotel in Lisbon.

2. Óbidos/Nazaré/Alcobaça/Mafra Private tour from Lisbon 9 hour

On this full-day tour from Lisbon, discover the heritage left by the Cistercian order in Portugal and visit the Monastery of Alcobaça.
