The downtown bus was great but the uptown bus wasn’t on cue when we passed specific sites. It would talk about them too early and when we reached them they were already talking about something else.

With the New York Explorer pass, we selected the 7 most important sights. Then I started planning the days. I got to know the subway and bus transportation in New York and planned where and how to go. Now I’m nearing the end and enjoying it more and more. I’ve been to the U.S. several times, but I’ve avoided big cities by far so far. However, I was in almost every National Park. I think we will enjoy that too.

I really enjoyed this tour. They were good bikes and the route gave us the opportunity to see a fair slice of the city - not just Central Park but a good part of the west of town, Hudson River and port area. We were blessed with perfect weather and it was a small group, which always helps. (Having said that, I'm sure our guide, Pearl, would have taken equally good care of us had there been more of us.) As well as telling us some of the facts and history Pearl also shared something of her own relationship with some of the places we passed, so I had a feeling of being shown round New York on a bike by a real New Yorker. Which I was.

Had a GREAT time riding Big Bus. All of the representatives on the street were nice and very helpful. The stops are strategically placed close to all the major areas of attractions to allow easy walking to. It’s definitely well worth the price to get around the city all day. Highly recommended!
The bus trips went smoothly and were quite pleasant! Watch on the uptown loop for low lying branches if you are on the right side of the bus upper deck!
it was nice but the inside the bus was hot but it was ok. would take that tour again
Had a good time, had family come along with us they enjoyed the site's very much.
Love the idea of being able to hop on and off. Enjoyed it very much
