Begin in Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you’ll have free time to explore the village center with its typical narrow, steep cobblestone streets, and outstanding sceneries.

Later, head to Quinta da Regaleira, which is 4 hectares of lush gardens, lakes, grottoes, and enigmatic constructions like the Iniciatic Well, a true must-see.

Next, stop at the enormous Pena Park, a unique botanic garden with 85 hectares of pure nature easy to fall in love with. Enjoy nature and see stunning lakes, winter gardens, and viewpoints.

Then, make your way through Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe.

This tour was absolutely amazing! We did everything in reverse because of the rain in the morning so did Cape Roca, then Regalaria, then Peña Palace. Our tour guide was awesome, she took great care to involve our children (7, 12, 17). I can’t say enough how much fun we had! We purchased the Peña Palace garden ticket (seen enough palaces/castles) went to the High Cross (not a hard walk) but the best spot was St. Catherine’s Heights where you can get a picture perfect view of Peña Palace!

We had a marvelous day, made all the better by our wonderful tour guide, Alex. She told us about the history and mystery of the different places we visited, and was friendly, service-oriented and personable, answering all of our questions and connecting with the whole group. We had just the right amount of time together and time on our own to explore the different places. It was a great choice for our trip to Lisbon, since it gave us the opportunity to see some sites outside the city that we would not have done on our own.
