very noisy car, GPS does not recalculate the route and there is a delay so we lost and could not get back on track. the car does not reverse and so we are stuck in some streets to return. As a driver (I was with my mother) it was very stressful because the direction is very hard and I had no GPS, lost in Lisbon.

The lady at the start was very informative and ensured we felt comfortable prior to leaving. The gocar itself is easy to drive and manoeuvre (it’s essentially a quad bike on 3 wheels). The GPS was handy although hard to follow at times. We took the Belem route which was beautiful and scenic. I would advise that 3 hours is more than sufficient and ensure you book online as the prices in store are significantly higher. The biggest issue was getting back to the starting point - the GPS takes you to the main road but not the side street its on so it took us an additional 30 minutes to make it back. I did try to feed this back to the gentleman at the end but he just spoke over me and wanted us out as the shop was busy. Despite this, I would recommend this as a fun way to explore the city and would certainly do it again.

This vehicle is a lot of fun to explore Lisbon through the normal traffic. You can drive up to 50 km/h without feeling unsafe. Yes, it is a bit loud and the acoustic explanations about Lisbon can almost only be understood when stationary, but Lisbon is very mobile and the preset routes (red, blue and green) can also be followed very well via the navigation system.
