Full description
Experience a new side of Lisbon in this 4-hour evening walking tour through the city’s most exciting areas and landmarks. After picking you up from your Hotel we will get started at the Praça Marquês de Pombal, one of the city’s largest and most important roundabouts, and always bustling with activity. From there we will walk along the 285-foot-wide (90 meters) Avenida Da Liberdade towards the heart of the city center, admiring impressive buildings and exclusive shops along the way. At the foot of the Avenida da Liberdade we will arrive at the Commerce Square along the Tagus River. Once the home of the Royal Palace, much of the square was destroyed in the Lisbon earthquake of 1755, and rebuilt in the following decades. The square is home to beautiful Rua Augusta Arch, as well as other pieces of impressive architecture. From there we will continue along the water to the Monument to the Discoveries, a commemoration of the Golden Age of Portuguese exploration. Our next stop will be the Belém Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before taking in views of the Lisbon Bridge and the hilltop statue of Christ, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. View of the Lisbon bridge and the monument of Cristo-Rei. Our tour will end with a meal at a typical local restaurant, as well as a live performance of Fado and other Portuguese folk music.

Never again!

It is organised by big bus tour. No promised walking around the town, we went directly to eat in a tiny dark restaurant where half of our group did not have good seats. The food was awful, cheapest wine and performance in a tiny corner was not impressive. We were looking forward when this will be done. Then we had a trip around the town in a bus which never stopped for a picture or nice view, it was all just driving in a dark and listening a guide saying same thing in 3 different languages.
