The tour in Belem was absolutely brilliant. We were lucky enough to be alone with Andriy and were able to learn a lot about Lisbon and Belem. Andriy, our guide, responded to all requests and questions, we felt comfortable and safe and the tour itself was very interesting. We saw the most important things and the Pasteles de Belem were also delicious. Luckily we didn't have to queue and Andriy got us two delicious pasteles. In any case, this tour is recommended

I chose this tour thinking that I only included the tour guided outside the Belem tower, instead we were taken on an interesting walking tour nearby passing by the monastery of San Geronimo, the naval museum, the monument to the discoveries and some other points of historical interest. It was also possible to taste some original pastel de Belems directly from the shop that has been producing them since 1837. My girlfriend and I were lucky as the guide met us directly at the hotel and to our surprise we discovered that it was just us on the tour. . The guide Cheila was nice, caring gave us time to take pictures and told many anecdotes of Portuguese life both historical and contemporary.

Thanks for this very informative walk!

I would like to extend a special thanks to Rui who made this tour special for my partner and me. He provided substantial background knowledge on Belém, and we were under the impression that his intention was to breathe life into the history of Portugal. Add to this the delicious pasteis de belém, and you have a day well spent! ***10/10 would recommend*** Oh and PS: Rui did not spoil Game of Thrones!! Thanks for that too ;))
