What people are saying about Lisbon Metropolitan Area

My mom and I recently did the “Lisbon: Tomar and Almourol Knights Templar Tour” – it was AWESOME! It was a fantastic way to see and experience an area of the country that we might otherwise not have been able to…not only was the design of the tour great but our host, Paola, was fantastic! She has a natural ease interacting with others and is a wealth of knowledge. She helped make the day feel like less of a formal tour and more of an immersive experience. We had a great time!

Beautiful tour and fascinating places. Super recommended!

Very interesting and well organized tour in travel and timing. Our guide Alex was nice, helpful and very prepared, he was able to convey precious information on the history of the Templars and on the symbolism hidden within the monuments visited. All very fascinating .. He was also able to speak 4 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese) to meet our needs. At the end of the day he also recommended the best fish restaurant of the whole holiday! Thanks Alex !!

We really enjoyed the tour. The tour guide Alexandre was very friendly and we understood his English well. The meeting point in front of the Fado Museum is easy to find and the tour is well structured. We particularly liked the castle in Almourol and the Convento da Ordem de Cristo monastery. Alexandre explained everything about the Knights Templar and answered our questions. We had a super nice day. Gladly again!

We spent the day with Ana. She was great! We learned so much and saw parts of Portugal that we wouldn’t even of thought of. We would highly recommend this day trip!

It’s nice to get back in time and see where thr templars live and learned of their contribution to the modern day.
