Our self- guided tour did not happen- after a delay, we were offered a full day tour to Fatima, Batalha, Nazare, and Obidos at no extra cost, which we took, even though we had previously seen above sites- tour guide Ana was wonderful, spoke three languages fluently, and went out of her way to make this tour a great experience for us, letting us have her front row seats -and the tour wasn’t rushed even after the morning delay and some road construction traffic-

Lots of interesting information to give context to what you are seeing. It’s great that you can pause the guide to just walk and look around. Additionally, having a prepaid ticket saves you from standing in a loooong queue to buy a ticket. Note that the tour goes on outside the castle in the neighbourhood, since there is less to see at this castle compared to e.g. Edinburgh Castle. Overall, definitely recommend this product!

We did nit use the audio, but I'm sure it was fine. Compared to other attractions, I felt that this was a bit expensive. Walking the castle grounds was amazing. Take your time, lots of steps to negotiate. A must to see.

100% worth it! The audio guide was excellent and I expected sub par, so all in all a wonderful activity to take in the city.

great way to go at your own pace-without the bits of history, walking around the ruins would be just that!
