Meet your private driver beside your ship at 8:00 AM for the 1.5-hour drive to the delightful fishing village of Portovenere, with its tall and colorful waterfront houses. Enjoy memorable sea views from the promontory where the Church of San Pietro stands. Its Gothic Genovese style dates back to 1256-1277. At the foot of the promontory, there is a small grotto named after Lord Byron who took refuge here. From Portovenere, you'll begin your adventure through the five lands of the Cinque Terre, a landscape so unique that in 1998 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What people are saying about Livorno

Our cruise changed the port of call to another port due to bad weather. GetYourGuide representative contacted me via WhatsApp on the change and the extra fee I had to pay coz the distance was longer. I was ok with that. Gave instructions on where to meet them. Guide was Alexander. He was excellent and very knowledgeable. However, I felt that he could have arranged to meet us at the entrance to Miracle Sq, Pisa, instead of arranging for us to walk back to the bus in the parking lot on our own. I wasn’t sure of the way and had to asked for directions along the way. A few others were also lost. Other than this all was good. We enjoyed ourselves.

Very well organized bus transfer. Tour guide Martina provided a lot of information about both cities and a possible route. Finally, we were even taken directly to the ship and no longer had to use the harbor shuttle. It is practical for cruise guests that the meeting point is directly at the exit of the port shuttle.

It was a really lovely day. lucca is so pretty and we enjoyed a lovely lunch with pasta. Then back on the coach to Pisa to see the tower. This trip was great value as it cost 3 times more when booked on the cruise ship.

Our guide had to cancel the trip due to covid. However, the tour company reached out to us and gave us the Pisa/Florence all day trip with no additional charge. We appreciate their proative apporoach and consideration.

Great Tour. Valerio is an excellent driver. shared his knowledge on Italian tradition , wine and food.
